Welcome to JDRJ Music Educators, where music isn’t just taught—it’s experienced. Founded by passionate instructors with a shared love for teaching and performance, our summer workshop is a creative, supportive space dedicated to helping children and teens discover the joy of playing the violin.
At JDRJ, we believe every student has the ability to express themselves through music. Whether your child is picking up the violin for the first time or building on years of experience, our program is designed to nurture their growth, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong appreciation for music.
JDRJ Music Educators is the collaboration of two seasoned violin instructors who bring over 20 years of combined experience in performance, music theory, and youth education. With backgrounds in classical training and experience in orchestras and teaching studios, we’ve guided hundreds of students on their musical journeys.
Our teaching style is built on patience, structure, and encouragement. We know every student is different, and we adapt our instruction to meet their learning style, pace, and goals. Whether they dream of performing on stage or simply want to enjoy music for fun, we provide the right path to get there.
At JDRJ Music Educators, we believe that learning music should be joyful and meaningful. That’s why we focus on creating a balance between structure and creativity. Students learn correct posture, bowing, finger placement, and music reading—but also get to experiment, improvise, and collaborate with peers.
We encourage progress through positive reinforcement and goal-setting. Our students leave each session feeling accomplished, motivated, and excited to return.
We help students prepare for real-world musical experiences. Through recitals, small group showcases, and studio recordings, every child has a chance to share their talent and celebrate their hard work. These experiences help build self-confidence, stage presence, and a true sense of achievement.
Our summer workshop is hosted in a clean, modern, and child-safe environment fully equipped for music education. From soundproof practice rooms to digital music tools, students have everything they need to learn, practice, and thrive.
Our summer workshop focuses on violin instruction for students ages 4 to 17. We divide our classes by age group—preschool, school-aged children, and teens—to ensure each student receives targeted instruction that suits their developmental stage.
What sets us apart:
Personalized violin instruction based on skill level
Small class sizes for more individual attention
Exposure to other instruments like piano and drums

Our workshop also includes musical games, rhythm training, and ear development activities to keep learning fun and engaging.
